For the first time in two years, stamp prices will change. On 31 March, the price of a First Class Stamp will rise by 2p to 62p.Royal Mail, under the current regulatory framework, could have raised the price of a Second Class stamp to 57p. Instead, the price of a Second Class stamp will rise by 3p to 53p.

Meant to say 3p as long as it says second class on your stamp you can use after the increase date so stock up!

yep, buy hundreds at current rates and you'll still be able to use them. I've still got a few from before the last price rise. Shop online for the best prices (WH Smith are doing 12 second-class stamps for £6).

would like to see a change in the law, which prevents retailers charging new prices for old coloured stamps !!
