Tea Pot

Anybody guide me to a small teapot for two that can be brewed on the cooker. - the ones I see seems you just pour the water in and wait but I like strong tea so would like it brewed it more. Thanks

On the cooker ? That wouldn't brew, it'd stew ! Unless you took it off the heat before adding the tea.

believe it or not og - I like it stewed - can't bear dish water

you'll need one with a thick bottom to withstand the heat from the hob, I'll go and have a look

An aluminium teapot would do the job. Just make sure you don't burn the handle!

thanks Alba - that is a good one but too pricey. Will try local shops myself. I had one but the kitchen fitters I think threw it out. Thanks again.

Why not just get a normal old fashioned hob kettle and just use it for tea?

I've got one of these and they're brilliant - make however many cups as you like on the cooker, last year I used it as a gravy jug with the lid for nice hot gravy that could be poured with no drips
