Unusually for a Saturday morning, I've had to abandon the TV News Channels and revert to Radio.
The TV News is full of simpering couples in Posh Frocks.
What's that all about then?

Morning Baldric, I too wondered what is happening today, apparently, gay couples can "wed" now, from 12,o,clock last night and I think the news reports seem to be showing the happy couples, who have taken the plunge.

Gay couples can wed now....not "wed". ("..." seems to imply that its not a "real" wedding/marriage.
