It was alright ..but you knew what was going to happen considering it was based on a true story .
The actor who played him was very good though .Just the right touch of creepiness to keep you glued to it ,and of course the lovely John Hannah :)
Mediocre really.
I thought it was excellent. I don't like real crime to be sensationalised and this story was dramatic enough.
I found the lead character to be very chilling
I thought the whole thing, generally, had the feel of Crimewatch reconstruction. We were often reminded by characters saying so, that Michael was such a nice, friendly, funny bloke and that his wives/girlfriend couldn't believe that he was the killer they were being told he was.
But in the drama we were shown him scheming to kill his wives or swindle people out of their money, so it was hard for us to see the person that they loved or trusted so much.
Interesting to read your thoughts. I had great hopes after the first episode but felt it ended up as a bit of a damp squib. Felt let down by the ending.
I didn't like the bit at the start that claims it is a true story but parts/characters have been added. leaves you thinking what was dramatic effect. What was real.
