Thats a Radio programme isn't it? These answers are TV programme. I am not familiar with it so I am not sure.

You had me doubting my memory for a while Jim Jools! Counterpoint was a documentary series on ITV from early 80s to mid 90s, mainly focusing on the Troubles in Northern Ireland. Maybe it's the wrong answer, maybe the answers are supposed to be contemporary programmes, maybe it wasn't aired in GB? (I'm Irish)..... I just think it's a perfect solution to the clue. There are very few words I can think of that mean "flatly reject" besides counter.

Sounds good to me pquinlan. The answers just have to be tv programmes from the past 50 years. I am not a great tv watcher so have struggled with some of these. Thanks
