Moving A Toilet

I want to move a toilet pan up tp 6 inches to the left of where it currently is. How do I extend the waste pipe? Currently there is a simple right angle pipe going straight down. Can I use the large flexi available from B&Q? Is it possible to link mmore than 1 pipe together? Do I need to maintain a 'downward slope'?

Maintain the slope and use rigid pipe if possible.If its a wooden floor you may be able to re-route below.

It's a solid floor. I was looking at using the long flexi pipe but thought maybe I would have to link it with another.

Use the flexi as a last resort...as sometimes they have a tendency to block.

With a solid floor, it's usual to have a collar set into the concrete.
Pull the existing pan connector out of that and move the pan over.

Turn your downward facing connector through 90 degrees, then connect that to the floor collar with another 90 degree bend............

Since you're only moving 6", I doubt if a flexible would bend enough to make the connection without distortion.

This mainly for the builder. I have ben thinking more about what you said, but I had thought of using a single right angle, then the long flexi pipe from B&Q, from the end of the right angle, right into the floor. Does this sound feasible?

Yes of course. That should be fine. Just make sure the flexible doesn't get kinked, and you'll be Ok.
