Wot

My WOT icons have disappeared from pages I open. If I google something they are there and give me a reading when I hover over them. If I then click on the link I want the icon used to be at the top of the page to the right of the url. No sign of it now.
Is this a new thing or is something wrong?

Web Of Trust indicators will only appear if you've got the relevant extension installed and enabled in your browser. Since you've not told us which browser you're using it's hard to give specific instructions but basically you need to check the list of extensions to see if Web of Trust is there and enabled. If it's not then, obviously, you need to reinstall it. If it's shown as there and active (but it's not actually working) then first try simply restarting your browser. If that doesn't work, uninstall the extension and then reinstall it.

There's I can't see the toolbar button anywhere included in the Firefox section.

Ok sorry about that.
I have used WOT for ages now and just assumed everybody.......ah well, sorry.
Anyway I have solved it now although I dont know why it disappeared in the first place.
Your right of course I did not give enough info.
Saying that has brought something to mind. I am using windows 8.1 with the 1st update. That could have been about when I lost the icon, maybe.

i don't know if you use firefox but i find that some add-on updates move associated buttons back to a default location, sometimes off of a toolbar back into the pool of unused buttons, and these need to be manually moved back to where they were
