Bad skin

Has anyone got any tips for improving skin? Most people seem to have perfect clear skin, all the same shade, etc. and i have to wear powder foundation to achieve it. I get the odd dry patch and odd spot aswell.

What are you currently using on your face - soap or cleansers ?

You sound like you have combination skin. It may be worth seeing one of the girls on a skin counter in a dept store ie. Clinique or Clarins or at Boots they can probably give you some good advice on what products would be best for you.

I'm wonder if using a powder foundation isn't making your skin worse by clogging the pores. Why not try leaving it off for a month to see if it makes any difference?. Possibly using a moisuriser for the dry patches would help, and changing to a facial wash in a tube if you use soap which can sometimes be drying.

Also drinking plenty of water is usually recommended.

I currently use a Neutrogena face wash. I really couldn't go to work without powder foundation though. I've heard that it's better than using liquid foundation. Are there any foods that are good for skin?

today (sunday) i went for a facial at my local beauty spot. I have similar skin (v greasy in t zone but dry on cheeks) and came out feeling alot more positive about my skin. I tend to get breakouts around about the time that i'm due and have very prominent pores. She suggested Dermalogica. The products she used were fab i think you can buy over the internet and they have such an extensive range to suit all skin types. Hope this helps

I looked on the internet and that stuff is expensive! How much are facials these days?
