Hi Folks,
Is it possible to somehow delete the mobile provider's (e.g. TMob) logo that appears on start up of a mobile phone please ? Any ideas ? Thanks as always.
^ I don't think it's as simple as 'setting your own wallpaper' (we're talking about the carrier logo that appears on initial 'start up'). Get the handset debranded/rooted.
I'd suspect it isn't straightforward as it will be fixed in the boot-up details which you don't normally get to go near. As snags says, if you have a bit of knowledge and can 'root' the handset you may be able to get to the system files and achieve something. Or if you could convince a workshop to wipe the whole system and reload a standard one then maybe. I suspect you'll probably end up putting up with it though.
I understand. It can be a bit annoying, even for a second, to have a company you are not in contract with, appearing on your handset screen and blaring out it's jingle.
It's not a problem, just wondered as I was given a new phone from my brother as he didn't want the free upgrade i was just curious if there was a way to remove it.
