whatever you think of capital punishment surely it is incumbent on the authority to employ a "fit for purpose" method. Electrocution/lethal injection, both terrible methods, surely they can come up with something more effective.

For a criminal who shot his victim then watched two other bury her alive I have little sympathy.
I am not advocating death sentences but carbon monoxide has always been reliable and painless.
I am 100% against the death penalty but I agree that in 'gun mad' USA a fireing squad is the answer, they would not have to look far to find people prepared to do the deed.
