Been a Pompey all my 66 years ... well certainly since I was five anyway ... don't know much about Andy Awford because I live in darkest Africa (Cape Town actually) but let's make him manager of the month no matter ... (still have my Pompey scarf from many seasons ago)!!

Linotype: Andy Awford took over when PFC sacked Rich Barker and were in danger of being relegated from Div 2. Since AA took over as 'caretaker' Pompey have won 5 out of 5 games (15 points) and are now safely placed mid-table. Interestingly, I placed a bet that Pompey would win their last 7 games, so it's 5 down and 2 to go.

Andy Awford confirmed as permanent manager for Pompey and he's got Manager of the Month for Div 2. That'll do me. Onwards and upwards!!!!!
