hot sweats

This is for a friend. She had her last period 4yrs ago but still suffers with night sweats. She doesn't want to go on HRT. Does anyone know when they eventually stop.

Hi maggie01. There's no set time as to when the sweats stop,we're all individuals so for one it could be weeks while for another it could be months. One of my neighbours in almost 70 and still gets flushes! I still get night sweats after nearly 7 years. I take Black Cohosh and find it very good. I wont go on HRT either! Black Cohosh can be bought at most chemists,supermarket and health shops.

I find Wild Yam Root has been great for me.No problems at all since I started taking it.You can get a cream or capsules.Capsules are better.Can be got in health food shops
