I am suffering with the above in my neck , going to physio and doing all exercises she gives me. I take 15mg meloxicam, that contains ibuprofen, can I take extra ibuprofen for the pain, paracetamol is no good.

meloxicam does not contain ibuprofen

meloxicam doesnt contain Ibuprofen but is a NSAID in it's own right.

Not the best method of pain relief to take 2 NSAIDs but if you are still having pain, then there is little choice.

I would take you meloxicam in the morning and ibuprofen 400mgms during the day if need be. Then OK this regime with your GP.

Thanks , my doctor told me that meloxicam contained ibuprofen! What does he know!
