Actually it's 5 not 18 (i kid you not!)

I don't know if it's related to your partner's problem, but mine has a sneezing fit after drinking wine. He's a similar age to yours, too.
It stops after a few minutes, and he carries on drinking the wine. No idea what causes it, I'm afraid.

I see that you are not a whisky expert Tony,as a real whisky drinker will normally take it with a little water.

This has two advantages:
1 - It brings out the flavour.

2 - It makes it last for longer.
