You have to love freebies.

In Waitrose, as you choose stuff, they put stickers on the pack that say "it's on us" and you don't get charged for it. And then you get a free newspaper.

I wonder why they chose to put our Waitrose on the grotty hell hole that is the Western Road. There's a tree outside that I chain my bike to. I'm sure one day someone will chop the tree down to nick my bike.

I wish I could save up my free tea, coffee and newspaper and reclaim them as credit against a bottle of wine.

I only ever claim my Saturday paper so I'm well in credit!

I never take the coffee. I enjoy sitting in coffee shops too much.

A few freebies in your trolley doesn't make up for the inflated price you're paying for your shopping at the Waitrose till

Expensive supermarket, for snobs who wouldn't be seen dead in Asda/Tesco/Morrisons/Aldi/Lidl etc
