Ok, what foods in Britain are named after the area it originated from?

I just thought of Cornish pasties and Yorkshire puddings. Are there any more?

I know some of them that didn't come to mind, but...wow! there are so many I didn't know as well...

Have now looked up bedfordshire clanger, and it's split 50-50 on the websites as to whether it's made with suet or pastry.

We've lived in Bedfordshire for 40 years, but have never tasted a Bedfordshire Clanger yet!

They used to sell them in a nearby market - they had meat in one end & fruit in the other!

Blackpool rock, Bakewell tarts, Jersey royal potatoes, Stilton cheese, Manx kippers, scotch eggs. And while we're on the subject: a Glasgow salad (aka chips).

There are loads more cheeses � Cheshire (the oldest named cheese in Britain apparently), Lancashire, Red Leicester, Double Goucester and Cheddar of course. But not Lymeswold � they made that up.

Or how about Arbroath smokies, Bakewell pudding (not the same as Bakewell tart), Bath chaps, Bath oliver biscuits, Lincoln biscuits, brown Windsor soup, Cumberland sauce, Dundee marmalade, Oxford marmalade, Welshcakes, Worcester sauce, Worcester permain apples, London dry gin, Scotch broth, Scotch egg, Scotch woodcock, and, er, Scotch?

At a pinch you could include the sandwich (which named after a person who was named after a place) or beef Wellington (ditto).
