Ebay Free Listings For Sellers

To the eBayer sellers - has anyone received a personal email (not a notice on the eBay site) offering free listing this weekend?

I'm pretty peeved to find that the offer to me is for free listings on 14 & 15 June (i.e. yesterday and today) but the offer only arrived in my email inbox at 00.15 this morning!

I haven't had the email with the two days but for the last couple of months I have had an email stating that I can have 20 free listings per month. The one for June was received on the 7th June. So I don't know if this expires on 30th June or 6th July.

got the email in the early hours of saturday morning and this has p***** my friend off as he has just opened up an ebay shop

I've just spotted that the notification is on the eBay front page too (which I don't go to very often). Although I've only had time to put up a few new sales (and usually this is when I do my relistings, too), I'm glad they are still offering free weekends - I feared that when they started offering the 20-per-month and put up their listing costs, they wouldn't do the free weekends any longer. 100 per free weekend is a pretty good offer!

Sycamore, I think it's per calendar month (but I could be wrong) - you could always check with them, I use their live chat facility now and again.

Free listing days are publicised on the eBay home page at least 2 weeks in advance. I get informed by eBay messages as well. Still time 'just' it is running until midnight tonight.

We used to get a notice showing up on the message board on my own page, but it hasn't been there this time :-(
