In central Manchester yesterday and with a bit of time to kill, I sat on a wall watching the various peeps busily milling around.

One young chap made me smile - a flamboyant character with hipster jeans showing a good two inches of his underpants, and alongside him on a pink dog lead, a wee sausage dog trotted along.

It made me chuckle.
