I suddenly stopped some years ago having parties which I enjoyed but thought I needed to knock it on the head since I was of a "certain age".
Since YOLO - "you only live once" - I am thinking of having one in the near future - maybe some time in September when I come back from hol in Cornwall hopefully.
Just wondered - have you stopped partying and why did you????? JJCon
We're part of quartet of couples, all with an assortment of kids and we've all been friends for 20+ years. Every few months or so, we have do's at one of our houses. There's really no expense involved, a bit of party food with your own booze brought with you and drank. It's certainly cheaper than going out plus no need for babysitters.
