Isn't it time that these illegals instead of being rescued and taken to England so that they can then claim asylum, were taken back to France from where they came.
/// It is understood they were claiming asylum and were due to be taken to a deportation centre pending assessment of their claim. ///
/// Last Saturday eight Afghan immigrants had to be rescued around five miles off the port of Dover in the Channel when their RIB's motor broke down after running out of fuel. ///
It is a good job that we have the Daily Mail to report on such things, or we would not know who is coming illegally to this country.

We need the government to address this issue of abuse of our borders. Loads of things tried but surely we need to make life so unpleasant for illegal immigrants that they dont want to come here any more. We do though seem to pussy-foot around with them and weigh up this right and that right. What about the rights of citizens living here lawfully who are expected to...

Oh that's OK then. We could do with a few more beggars and streetworkers here.
The fact is they are being sustained somehow. They are either working illegally, receiving benefits (unlikely, as you say), living off charity, or are engaged in illegal activities. Whatever it is we'd be better off without them and we should do all we can to discourage them from arriving by making the UK extremely unattractive to them.

They certainly don't lower any lifeboats in our territorial waters, our lifeboat and their French opposite numbers are always going out to rescue men on plank rafts, oil can rafts, RIBs, and so on, who've risked their lives crossing the industrial shipping lanes off our coasts. Desperation, but indeed, send'em back, they're not our problem. The Canary Islands have the right idea - rescue, feed, put back on next plane.

nobody's ever taught you how to live out on the street
and now your gonna have to get used to it
you say you never compromise
with the mystery tramp but now you realize
he's not selling any alibis
as you stare into the vacuum of his eyes
and say do you want to make a deal
how does it feel how does it feel
to be on your own with no direction home
a complete unknown like a rolling stone
