I didn't know that, I only knew about clove oil.

First I've heard of this. Don't know if I'll have a chance of trying it but will tell others about it.. if they have a toothache.

I've never heard of using vanilla extract, but I remember putting clove oil on a painful tooth, as a child, and almost hitting the ceiling with the extra pain it caused.

Whisky swilled round the mouth,and then swallowed,is a much better solution for toothache. :-)

well, never heard of this. But have I broken the record for out of date stuff? Went and looked at the little bottle of oil of cloves - expired in 1996. Do you think it will still be useable?
