How can I get my wedding video transferred onto a dvd ? its 25 yrs old, dont know if that makes adifference. Thanks

Toe you can do this at home if you have a dvd player with record on it and a vhs player still, more info here http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/news/index.cfm?newsid=11484

As kevo says, the easiest way it to use a standard machine from Currys or somewhere, with DVD and VHS recording.

It'll let you copy your VHS cassettes easily, without too much fuss.
