How many people wear big pants during this time? I can see the point of wearing big pants because of sanitary towels but I only use tampons and still wear big pants! Is anybody else like this? I think its just a comfort thing :-)

i nearly answered this earlier and then changed my mind as I didn't want to be the first in case no one else answered ( how old am I????) anyways, 26 women later, I have knickers reserved for the occasion too. Old ones that look just how I feel at the time. Off white and huge. Comfortable, and not at all aggravation to the cramping and bloating of said abdomen. I don't actually need them as I don't wear a menstrual belt of anything (I'm a moon cup girl- seperate thread) but yeah, big pants and comfy clothes. my size fluctuates so much through the month i actually have clothes I can't wear at certain times.....It also means you can eat more chocolate and ice cream without your knicker elastic digging in!

its only fair that i tell you ,- apparently the best and most comfy things to wear are my gruntys. can you beleive that the dirty filthy cwo is laffing and acting like im not being fair. no way are my shreddies getting used for that . theres something wrong with you people

All my 'period knickers' are thongs, not big knickers! But shazbang is right, they tend to be old ones that I don't mind ruining with leakages. Though I never have off-white or greying knickers. I'm too proud of my underwear collection to retain greying ones!

When I was younger I used to wear my big school gym knickers over the top of already larger than normal pants, as I was so paranoid about leaking!
