This is a 'funny' question, BUT, I tried getting the free program 'Revo Uninstaller' to 'pin to start menu' several times with no luck! Then someone suggested that I simlpy change the name of the program to ,eg: 'Revo';which I did and the option to 'pin to start menu' was back, which is where the prog is now. Why should a simple thing like that have such a profound effect on a computer? Please, keep the answer simple(if there is one).
Cheers
Because it is an unreliable piece of software.. Some folk compliment it and others condemn it as being useless.
Question yourself as regards whether you really need it when normally it is a very straightforward matter to remove an unwanted programme and it has been alleged that Revo brings along 'Pups' (Potentially Unwanted Programmes) which can be troublesome.
I managed to get a Cheshire police message, 'your site access is being blocked and recorded' on a Google search for a 'Dog's Balls' in looking for one of those Chuckit ones or equivalent. What a load of bollocx and anyway my IP address suggests that I live near sloopy.
revo is a reliable programme hansurbanka has a problem with everything but Microsoft products it seems, ive had the prog years ans use it to completly uninstall programmes not required any more
