Abh Sec 47 Frist Offence

Looking for advice i am on bail and been charged with abh sec47 me and my wife had a fight and she fell down and hit the hed had she srart bellding. She told the police that i have done all this etc police charge me with abh now case is in crown court and i said i am not guilty they going to put me trail now she drop the charge and said this to police it was accident she fell down but cps is not droping the case. This is my first time i am in court i been arrest few time before for stupid things like we had small fight she end up calling the police she messed in head. Last time i was arrest it was 3 years ago. Some advice please?

The Police and the CPS are used to women retracting statements after emotional pressure from the people they've accused and will normally proceed with the case regardless. Take your solicitor's advice, turn up in court looking presentable, be polite and take Colinandjess's advice about accepting you might need some help.

I have never hit her she need help she have too many problems like debt weight she had 4 miscarriages we dont normally fight but we she in mood no one stop her i should left her ages ago but then though might things get better but i think i made mistake. She is not going to give avidence and i know i didt hit her. Things got out of hand on the day. Just wondering what to expecet on trail
