My brother in law aged 60 was born, bred, worked and lived in Scotland until three years ago when he married and moved 2 miles into England to my sisters house, therefore is not eligible to vote in the Referendum. My partners grand daughter goes to a Scots university and has lived in England all her life till a few months ago,yet IS eligible to vote - Where is the sense in that?

obiter, do you have a vote ?
No, I do not. I was merely trying to make the point that everything indicates a rejection of the proposition (from an English point of view). If that has upset the YES campaign then I apologise, and shall refrain from commenting on this issue in the future.
so a yes or no . you answered no. thanks
I wonder if Scotland got independence would they still get free university fees...or prescriptions...or whatever else they get FOC.
Is the point not that if Scotland gained independence the people of Scotland would be able to choose how to collect and spend their monies?
I am English and do not expect a vote, nor do I epect that if the vote goes for a divide they will have a say in running England. Well the first part is true, as to the second part only time will tell. At least a will still get my Bells.
sorry for typo, I not a.
