Thoughts On Waitressing At A Strip Club!

so I decently moved to a new state, new city, about 10 months away from getting my bachelors. However I need an extra job to hold me over, what are everyone's thoughts on waitressing at a strip club? Do you or have you known anyone that has done it? Is it too trashy? Would you look down on someone if you knew that was where they worked?

boxy......Amy is 83 next birthday and was stripping until about 4 months ago and now wants to know if people would think her a "slapper" if she took a job as a waitress in the same club.

At the height of The Troubles in Belfast the town was starved of entertainment and the centre was almost deserted by about 7 O'Clock. Then came an ad telling of a stripper in the Abercorn Bar.
The place was crammed to the rafters that night and as she performed you could have heard a pin drop.
Like the lady Sqad mentioned, she was no spring chicken.

I would have thought that Waitressing in a properly run (actively managed)
Club would not be a problem, as there are systems in place to deal with the Gropers, and they work quite well as a rule. (I used to do it sometimes, Security that is, when I was on leave from the RM's) Your transport/route home after a shift needs to be sorted though.

But Amy,....if you're in Florida,....wouldn't you need to be over 21 to do that sort of work?

I went to Hooters for a job and exposed my chest - they said that I was too flat. So I dropped my breeks and showed them down under, their response was if you wear a bra down there, perhaps we will reconsider.

Alas some of our 'boys' have a mental age of much less than 18 when it comes to ladies. They are most certainly over (well over) 21.

"Alas some of our 'boys' have a mental age of much less than 18" Aah I see. Well that would explain a lot thanks wolf63. I haven't had much experience with the mentally ill but obviously have sympathy for their sickness and what their families have to go through as it can't be easy.

I can understand the opinion that some would hold, that they would rather their offspring found a less sleazy industry to work in; but apart from that I don't see any issues. If you wish to do it then fine. The question is not what we think but whether you are ok with it.

Also be wary as if you're great with customers, pretty with a nice body and the boss likes you he might try to get you stripping with the promise of "real money" and it does pay very well but has led to many developing drink/drug habits as many drink/take drugs to have the courage to be able to do it.

If you ever do decide to go into stripping make sure that you're very friendly with the other girls as many of them don't take too kind to new girls joining and it can become a real scratchy bitchfest making it impossible for you to stay.
