I was really looking forward to it starting again,especially as Peter Capaldi is great, but I cannot get into it at all this time, nothing exciting to send me behind the couch, anyone else think the same?

I didn't like the first episode but I'm loving Peter Capaldi now, I think he's really bedded into the role. I hated the Robin Hood episode though :(
It could be a bit more frightening but I think they're stuck with a lot of people perceiving it s a kid's programme which it originally was but it has actually moved more towards an adults programme but the production seems to be stuck midway in a state of flux. Jump towards a more adult market and you'll have something really worthwhile I think, stay in this quasi children's show format and you risk losing something which could be really excellent.

Totally agree with kvalidir. It seems since losing the Sara Jane adventures they are trying to meld the two together and it just isn't working. I was worried about Peter Capaldi but I think he's doing a sterling job despite dire scripts and an 'assistant' that just does not work for me. But the 'monsters' well sorry but last night was supposed to be an alien that could destroy the earth and it was no more than a cyberman in a wheelchair that didn't actually do very much.

Missed it this weekend. Will have to visit iPlayer I suppose. Did they move the time slot for some Strictly Nonsense programme or something ? I'm sure one used to be able to watch it prior to the pub visiting hours.

last episode a super killer monster robot with the power to destroy the earth cant hit a bloke spinning over its head in slow motion. nah.
Capaldi too shouty and spitty for me so far.
