I truly never thought I would be so heart-broken and I am. The house is so empty, when I come home from any outing - he was there - barking and going mad indeed.

Anyway went from dentist to animal shelter - since I didn't know where it was - it took a few hours - altho all the wee animals are looking for parents - only one wee article took my fancy which was a tiny Jack Russell. It was only there a few days but as much as I tried to make eye to eye contact - it wasn't there.

I have buried so many people in my day I can't believe how heartbroken I am - it actually has taken so much out of me just like my mother's death. Oh God. I am sorry for ranting here.

And I feel sorry for the poor little Jack Russell that wouldn't meet your eye, probably scared, who knows what sort of life the little soul has had. The sort of dog I'd take straightaway to restore his faith in human nature and let him know we're not all scum.

Chaphatzu - the little jack russell already had someone's name on him - ie somebody was going to get him.

conn. I think its a great idea to get your teeth done before getting another dog. as you say a lot of work required and you would want to concentrate on the dog without being in discomfort, do I remember you saying in the past you didnt go on holiday because of mr, harv. I wonder if this is the time for that holiday.

Well Anne - our posts have collided with the dog and my teeth - see Dental Implants. No, I know need to get my health built up re the teeth as it will be several months so I believe. Teeth certainly comes first and then health to enjoy my new dog.

Also, Anne couldn't think of a holiday with the expense of teeth anyway. Lots of 1,000s of pounds
