Saw a very tempting Toyota IQ today at a dealership. Am looking for a small car - anybody out there have /had one of these, and would they recommend it?

They're not cheap but according to most reviews, they're excellent. But they are SMALL!
Have you looked at respected opinions....like What Car? for example?

Personally, if I wanted a small car I'd go for the Skoda Citigo (or the same car in VW clothes...the VW Up!).
I looked at your question and did what I always tell others to do.... Google Toyota IQ problems.... Most owners are impressed, but one thing did come up several times... MPG was not as good as they expected. I suppose that could be down to the way it is driven though.
Take a test drive. No reason not to buy an IQ if you like it and it suits your needs.
Jack up the suspension - get a high IQ......
Not a bad motor at all. Aston Martin based the Cygnet on the IQ, and they are still fetching good money!
They are brilliant little cars. Smart looking as well. Most cars don't get the advertised mileage so nothing different here.
