weaza...just wanted to say Hi babes. Havent seen you on here for ages (and don't you visit Sport these days?). You must be chuffed with another title under the belt for Jose and the boys. Anyway, good advice on here, I just wanted to say hello. xx
I met my boyfriend when I was 17 and he was 25. I am now almost 19 and he is 26.
I have never felt that the 8 year age gap has ever mattered, however my boy has felt a bit elderly next to me. (complete rubbish of course!)

I think it totally depends on the people. I have always been more mature for my age, and my boyfriend doesn't look (or act) his age.
My parents were a bit wary at first, but now repect my choice of bloke!

Thank you everyone! I think the boy in question is lovely, and I am probably more mature than him now, let alone boys my own age! He doesn't see my age as a problem at all and (so far...) has acted the gentlemen, it is just when you get "he's HOW old?!" as the standard reaction when speaking about him, you get a bit self-concious...

Hello kick! Been v busy i'm afraid with gcses :(... i guess I abandoned AB. But as you can see sometimes I still make a guest appearance! I might return now i know atleast someone noticed by absence! I steer clear on sport on account of the Chelsea haters mainly kick (cough bob cough), but only as i'm stressed and my resolve is down... make no mistake when the exams are over and we have won again i'll be back on gloating as usual!

Thanks again all!

i was 16 when i started going with my husband and he was 21 we' ve been married 30 years come august only you know how you feel

weaza....I look forwward to seeing you back after your exams are all done. That'd be great babes. Of course I noticed you were gone.... there weren't many females on that testosterone ladened area, so I felt liek I'd lost an ally (even if you do support the wrong team - lol). You and Laurie can gang up on Bob, and show him who's boss. By that time, the league will be over and done with, and you can gloat lots !! Don't worry tho, Laurie holds his own for you guys!

Babes, all the best of luck with the exams when they come. And get over to Sport when you're finished - there are a few girlies around these days. You need to meet Sense (a "top bird") and get an invite to her Sports bar.

Oh, and in response to your question....I always thought your replies and posts were very mature for your age, and some of the things you said were very sensible and responsible. I was surpised you were only 16. I don't think that 4 years is a big gap...alot of 20 year old males can be very immature. Good luck.

take care. see you in a couple of months! xxx
