Looking Out Of The Kitchen Window.....
38 Answers
I saw 4 kids scooping up the leaves and throwing them at each other. They were laughing and squealing and seemingly having a good time. I watched them for a while and decided the eldest was about 5 or 6, two more were younger and then a toddler age about 18 months or maybe 2. It dawned on me that I couldn't see an adult with them. I went out, had a look round and no adult in sight.
I watched those kids like a hawk. What sort of parent does this?

Probably the same kind of parents who live 2 doors up from me who let their 6 kids play in the street, bounce up and down on my shed roof (did point out to them it's made of corrugated iron and quite rusty) and then graffiti my back gate (with their own names). Thankfully they all finally got taken into care.

What not look after their offspring properly?
I can think of two in particular but apparently you are not allowed to slate them on AB.
I can't help but wonder how many on this thread who are berating the parents of these kids berated ........we'll you know who.

I too would be looking out for their safety and have done with kiddies playing outside my home. Schools in our area have been sending out letters to parents warning of Eastern Europeans attempting to kidnap small children. Never let your guard down where children are involved, whatever age.
Piper H sometimes it's good to make assumptions where children are involved, it could save their life.
