What is the weather usually like at the end of May? Going on a short cruise and don't want to be cold or wet Brrrrrrrrr ..

The Atlantic's a big place - it stretches from Iceland to the Equator and on to Antarctica - which bit? You've got just about every conceivable weather there from blizzards to tropical heat.

only place where i've seen really bad weather was in the bay of biscay. it's only going to get warmer as you go south but as i said, the bay of biscay can get quite rough, even for me and i was in the merchant navy. a chance you take anywhere in the world really.

Thanks jaberwocky, I have heard this, will put my sea legs on ....
we visited Le Havre Rotterdam andZeebruge on Golden Princess last May and the weather wasn't too bad at all the Channel was a bit rough returning to Southampton but nowhere near as bad as it was mid Atlantic a few days previously
