I need to accurately translate the phrase:
"If you're going through hell, keep going" into latin, of course Google isnt the most reliable...

The rot set in in the 1960s when the Tridentine Mass stopped being used. There are not as many priests with good Latin as there once were.
Agreed Sandy. This was a sad day for us all. It is still possible to hear Mass in Latin in Edinburgh in a few churches.
When I suggested a Catholic priest might be a good source of information on accurate Latin, I did say he would probably be an older one!
The saying we learned was ''Ad Astra per aspersions.''

Then Talbot's comments about the percentage of ABers with Latin. Obviously, deduction says that several ABers are retired Catholic priests.

Jupiter forbid that anyone should take Me for a retired catholic priest. I can't imagine anyone less similar to me - except possibly a Little Green Man from Planet Zog.
