Christening Cake
12 Answers
Was at a christening on Saturday and the baby's cake was simply divine.
I never ever tasted a cake so moist and I nearly would say oil had been used. Would I be right.

If it had a rich buttery taste I doubt oil was used. Oil can be used for a 'moist' cake, but it loses that rich taste. Might it have been an angel cake consistency with buttercream? http:// www.anc hordair y.co.uk /recipe s/angel -cake

May be it's the amount of eggs in the recipe jenny that would really aerate the sponge? Also it seems whipping the egg whites gives a cake a light texture .. http:// www.eho w.com/h ow_8276 347_mak e-moist -airy-c ake.htm l
