Jimmy had his sperm frozen before having a vasectomy. The woman with the baby got his sperm by accident. I think!

As far as Nicola is concerned, a couple of years ago they agreed that Jimmy would have a vasectomy and they wouldn't have any more children. Angelica was old enough and Jimmy at the time, unbeknownst to Nicola, decided to deposit some sperm for his own personal use.

"So it's there for him not as a donation, just in case. The old 'in case' scenario, but he didn't tell Nicola, and then he forgot about it.

"There happens to be a mix-up at the clinic whereby Juliette has gone in need of a donation, and Jimmy's sperm is given. She then breaks into the clinic and wants the details of whoever the person is and they know that there has been a mix-up. But one receptionist does give her Jimmy's details and so she arrives practically nine months pregnant."
