Lemon Cheese

Have any of you good people out there got an old fashioned recipe for Lemon Cheese (not curd) thanks in anticipation

My own understanding (backed up by many web references) is that 'lemon cheese' and 'lemon curd' are synonymous anyway!

lemon curd was made with dried eggs, and lemon cheese was made with fresh eggs.. my mum and friends had to use use dried eggs sometimes during the war! but I still cant find a recipe for lemon cheese.

Sorry didn't see your message, now I have looked at it, this is the one from my childhood, and I have still got the stone jar to make it in. off to get the lemons now, thank you very much.from a yorkshire lass.
