Well there you go, the arrogance we have come to expect from labour.

Milliband is clearly looking to get his snout in the trough once labour oust him.
Youngmafbog - do you think he will wander off to the commission when he loses the next election? That's a fairly worrying idea!
Political prejudices aside.

He sure doesn't need to reaffirm all reasonable voters who want out, should avoid voting for his party. If the report is true it would seem he is intend on self destruct.

Er, that has been the Labour position for years.

They are a pro Europe Party and they have never promised a referendum.

Slightly more honest than promising a referendum, Cameron circa 2009, and then saying it is too late when he got into Downing Street.

Cameron needs a majority to give us the promised referendum (if he doesn't fudge it again), and every current poll says he will not get a majority.

Business leaders are mostly pro Europe, so Milband is highlighting his party's difference from the Cinsetvatives, to an audience who want to hear it.
The CBI don't want Britain to leave the EU, nor do the Tories and the Libdems, so I am at a loss to understand why the Labour Party should be castigated for not wanting to leave as well ?

As the recent Poll on here showed that right wingers outnumbered left wingers by near 2 to 1, should the aforesaid right wingers be turning their ire on the Tories, instead of making continual personal attacks on Ed ?
Well according to you Mickey Ed will win the election. If he does he is going to cock two fingers to the population and do what Labour always does, decide for you because they know best.

So yes, right-wingers (I assume you really mean eurosceptics in this case)are entitled to 'have a pop'.
// If he does [win] he is going to cock two fingers to the population //

If he campaigns on staying in Europe, and then he wins the election, he has a mandate to stay in Europe.

Unlike Cameron who campaigned before the last Election on a referendum on the Lisbon treaty, and then has not given the population a referendum. That is cocking two fingers at the people who elected you.
Usual lies. Labour recovered the economy after the Bankers wrecked it - then Osborne sent the inherited growing economy spiralling into recession.
Cast-Iron Guarantee Dave

// "Today, I will give this cast-iron guarantee: If I become PM a Conservative government will hold a referendum on any EU treaty that emerges from these negotiations." — David Cameron MP, The Sun, 26th September 2007. //
