If the licence is abolished as they are talking about it at the moment. What happens to over 65's who get it free now?

There aren't enough details in that article to form an opinion for me - if a subscription fee was more than the current licence then I would be against it.

If it took away the free system for over 75's again I would oppose it.

I also would oppose it.
Has no one thought of how they can enforce this idea given that it is free to air?

Everyone would need some m means of actually paying, and that will involve admin somewhere. Might as well keep what we have.

At the moment "I'm all right jack" so I don't care really as long as it doesn't affect me!! Selfish but heyho we look after number one!
Dont worry Madam they will still get it free ....

Oh you mean will they get paid now for watching tel ?
Hmm not sure about that one
I think they should just abolish the fee and pay the BBC out of general taxation.
