Not A Question But More A Moan

Date for surgery finally arrived with overnight bag packed and waiting for my lift to the hospital and I get a call cancelling my surgery due to lack of beds.
Knowing they didn't really want to do my operation and the 'problems' I've had with them I predicted they would cancel when they changed my slot from first on the list to last on the list.
And there was me thinking my powers of prediction was on the slide. It turns out it has had a resurgence and is looking better than ever..... Now for the lottery numbers lol

I posted a big paragraph and it just came out as Thanks :( (although there was a thanks at the end lol)
Anyway...
They eventually phoned back (after I had to badger them) and I am rescheduled for second week in Dec.
They have said they won't cancell again..... unless there are no beds ;)
Two children at primary school have to be sorted but I would rather rush around for a few days organising everything than not have the op.
Individually they are all very nice and helpful so I can't complain about them but bl**by hell the consultant has resoundly ignored me for two years and is only now doing the operation because he couldn't ignore the evidence any longer.
Why do they do that? He even suggested, and gave me the contact details, that I see a (*** can't spell it) psyciatrist for my unfounded fears. Turns out they weren't unfounded after all...
Ha ho. Hopefully come the third week of December I will be posting about how well it went and how succesfull it was :) :)
Thanks
