Indefinite leave to remain visa.

My Thai wife was granted an indefinite leave to remain visa in August this year and 4 weeks later, after 4 years 4 months of marriage, decided she'd had enough of married life and upped and went, she's still working in this country and now living with a more streetwise older Thai friend who I believe has given her some dodgy advice. My question is, is there a period of probation that she has to serve to earn the right to stay in this country, I feel that I have been used as the mug with the money. I have tried contacting the UK border agency by phone and email but have had no response, any help much appreciated, thankyou.

If she`s been granted an Indefinite leave to remain visa, then I would have thought she has exactly that - indefinite leave to remain. The stipulation might be that she doesn`t get a criminal record but I doubt there is a condition that she has to stay with the person she married.
