So hard to choose just one, especially when you don't specify what type of genre you prefer!

My favourites include:

The Catcher in the Rye - JD Salinger

The Handmaid's Tale - Margaret Atwood

Hunger - Knut Hamsun

Nausea - Jean Paul Sartre

Ask the Dust - John Fante

Ooooh, I could go on and on and on!!!

All the books I read are fact.I recomend "Empty Cradles".An unbelievable read, yet fact.If someone said to me that 150,000 children could be kidnapped from this country or that this country could have deported them in the most decietfull way I would have said impossible Britain would not do that.It did.The Social Worker that stumbled across it and wrote the book should be made a Dame for her tenacity and determination. She is still trying to bring these families together.

A couple of my favourites are 'The Lovely Bones' by Alice Sebold, and 'Salem Falls' by Jodi Picoult. I've also read a lot of Richard Laymon's novels, all of which were brilliant, but my favourite was, and still is, 'In The Dark'. It's fantastic and, in my opinion, very original!
