If you were looking for a car and they were car dealers, would you trust Mr Cameron, Mr Milliband or Mr Farage to do a decent deal and not rip you off.

If a politician told me tomorrow was Monday I'd check the calendar.

methyl,
Not sure which planet in the solar system you were on when you missed this:

I have a Bus Pass, I've used it 3 times in 2½ years, I most likely won't use it again!
Foot in mouth rather than tongue in cheek
In any case I did buy a second hand car once.
FROM someone, not OFF someone
Buying anything from a politician would immediately bring to mind the expression Caveat Emptor
Methyl you can't possibly mean the Margaret Hodge who was in charge at Islington when child abuse was occurring in children's homes on her watch and who scoffed when it surfaced in the press. Or the Margaret Hodge whose family business paid only £163k on revenues of £2.1billion (0.01%) in 2012. You are having a laugh aren't you? Ghastly woman.

Never trust ANY politician. They all lie. That's why they either become politicians or lawyers or estate agents.
Why leave out little cry baby Nickerless? He wouldn't know the truth if he tripped over it.
Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha, would you buy?? they don't know what a second hand car is Iggle, it's below them Parasites to even think about it.
