At this early stage in the tax year, you won't be entitled to much tax back unless you have special circumstances. Ask your employer for a form P46, once you sign this your employer will send it to the tax office and you will be issued a cumulative tax code.
Or, if it's from last tax year, you may have a P-45 from your old employer for the first pasrt of the tax year, and a P-60 from your new employer for the second part. i've had this before when I've changed jobs near the end of the tax year and my old employers have been slow with the tax forms. You'll need to send both to your local tax office (or maybe the one that deals with your employer - phone your local one and ask them) with a letter explaning what happened and they'll sort it out and send you a rebate.
