indirect contact
The courts have decided that despite my son not wanting to have anything to do with his father he has to have indirect contact in the way of letters, cards and presents.Surely this is a way of trying to buy my sons affections. He says he wont accept anything but the court welfare woman is going to be the deliverer off such items and I dont trust her Help!

This person might even suggest child opens them while they are there! B....y cheek! On the upside all this did for the kids was put in black and white what a pillock the "sperminator" actually was. After a year or two only a few exchanges took place. Good did come from it as the kids got stuff from their paternal grandparents and are now on regular talking terms with everybody else in that family except for their Dad, but they have met their six half brothers and sisters .... Two at a time by three other women .... Get a good friend to help you get through the drop off, so you are not made to feel the odd man out or belittled by the experience. Sending you some positive mental energy! Good luck. For my friend this was the begining of the end of ex- hubbies interference in her life. As he rarely used to the opportunity to contact the kids he was allegedly' bereft' without, so the Courts slowly realised he was a complete chancer, it was more about power games than building a relationship with the kids. This may turn out to be a blessing in disguise - although I am sure you probably do not fell like that right now.
