It was meant lightheartedly. OH absolutely loves cars, worked with them most of his life, and is very suspicious of my amateurish approach to checking tyres etc., so he does sit. If I did it, he'd check it all again to make sure. He was widowed over 20 years ago so learnt to cope in the kitchen DTC.
