How Did You Meet Your Other Half?

I've just been told a lovely story from a couple about how they got together. Any on here got an remarkable or romantic tale to tell about how you met your other half?

My brother took her out on a date years before I met her, they didn't meet up for a second date. I was drinking in a local pub with my brother and he started chatting to a very attractive brunette who he said he had taken out a few years ago but nothing came of it. To which I responded "Mind if I have a crack?"
We began dating and really hit it off. Both coming out of crap relationships, we took it slow and it blossomed into an amazing relationship, the marriage last year

met her 8 years ago, after being in madrid for 4 months.It was the briefist of meetings, we were in a language exchange bar(very popular then, not so much now) when i happened to arrive quite late, and she was on her way home, she said hello, and in a strong spanish accent " very nice boy", didnt see her again for another 4 months. strange enough, before i met her, i was planning to return to the uk. we been living together for 5 years now.

In the local pub - I was chatting to friends and he was with said friends - a gypsy (probably not very PC nowadays, but I think she was) came round selling roses, and he bought me one - still together 20 years later, but don't spend so much time in pubs nowadays!

We met at work. When the company went under, I helped my staff with CV's, job hunting, interview techniques etc. Then one day, I ended up drinking with the colleague that used to irritate the hell out of me after a job search date. One thing led to another, moved in, married....still together now, love him to bits...he still irritates the hell out of me, and we still work together. Romantic!?!

We met in the playground of the school that his son and my daughters attended, 21 years ago this coming May. My eldest daughter and his son were in the same class and were friends. I found out he was a single dad and basically 'stalked' him until he asked me out :)

In a local Working Men's Club, I'd seen her but never spoke until this night I asked her to Dance, been Dancing ever since, " with all my moan's" I do have a romantic side.

hubby was a sailor i was a wren met on a night out as i knew the matelots he was with .but hubby likes to tell people we were on a night out and he fell into the gutter and i was looking up at him lol (42 years married )

I was helping to run a choir & we were really struggling for Basses. All were required to seek out male singers - one lady brought along a widower (widowed 1993) who, she said, 'Didn't get out enough'. That was 7 years ago, married for 2 of them, love him to bits. You never know what's round the corner.

He chatted me up at my local railway station. When his shift had finished he walked me home. We've been married 37 years in March.
