Does anyone on here use them ? my 84 your old friend has transferred her electric, gas, tv, phone & internet over to them convinced she is going to save lots of money, why do alarm bells ring and some sort of pyramid sell come to mind ? apparently she says the sales people go up to another level when they make so many sales ? I have looked on their website but I am not convinced and what happens if they fold for want of customers she will be left without any of the services wont she ? Obviously she is asking me to join.

The organisation I work for use them for gas. no problems with them over the last 2 years and they were much cheaper.
Unless your friend is being encouraged to sell utilities she purchases in advance, to all her friends, I can't see it being a pyramid selling scheme.

If one collapses they aren't going to disconnect supply, and plenty of other companies will be happy to sell to her instead.
I don't like the sound of them either.

I would steer a wide berth.

I think they were quite good. If you took gas, electric etc you got free phone calls but recently much of a muchness.

thank you all for your replies, as advised by Hopkirk think I will pass.
Been with them for 3 years. Never had any issues and we've saved over £600 a year. My mobile phone is with them also £16 a month for unlimited calls, unlimited texts, free calls abroad to Utility warehouse customers and 4GB of internet. The only downside is that they use TalkTalk as a broadband supplier and I hate them. I get about 14MB (average 1.9-2.4Mb/second download speed).
Dundee Samaritans use Utility Warehouse for gas and electricity. We have saved quite a tidy sum over the past three years.
Never heard this name before. We live and learn on the AB.
Heard something on radio yesterday where organisations want you 4g or something you buy everything from one company. SKY getting in bed with O2 next year. You always have cooling off period'!
Sorry was a gas question, if you sign up for dual deal ie elect and gas and is cheaper providing it's not too long a deal fine. Lots of smaller Energy companies starting to provide
I have been with them for years and never had any problems with them. Saved plenty of money with them too.
