That doesn't have a USB port unless you have the OTG cable that will let it use a flash drive? I'm thinking you need to download a browser to flash drive on another machine

why on earth do people have to use Opera to download Chrome? Are Firefox users actively blocked from doing that?
Also, I read somewhere (call it propoganda, for now) that Opera was -the- most hacked browser out there. I amused myself by thinking that it was called opera because it allows the crooks to play your PC like a tune. ;-)

Hypnognosis, I chose Opera because I did not have it installed on either my Nexus 7 nor my PC and I wanted to be sure the transfer from the Nexus to the PC worked.
I already have Firefox and Chrome on both machines and in any case when I tried to download Chrome browser for my PC to my Nexus it simply wouldn't - not supported by your device.
The aim of the exercise was simple - to get the OP online so that she could download the browser of her choice. It is a simple enough exercise to remove Opera when that is done.
I personally like Opera on my smartphone, it is fast and simple to use and displays webpages very well. The mobile version of AnswerBank works particularly well on Opera.

I looks like the DVD I purchased is no longer on sale.
This is the nearest I can find, but it only contains service packs 2 and 3 plus IE 8; whereas my disk included all updates (security etc) – or at least that is what the seller claimed.

I found I had to go in by Google but having said that my laptop keeps cutting out. I went to 02 as i use and 02 dongle but they referred me to PC/Curry who charged me £25 it was good for a few weeks but I am back to square one. I was going to bring it back to PC/Curry and spoke to chap who said it would not cost me any more but he failed to tell me the shop was closing in a few day.
