Sensitive Breasts...
10 Answers
I've had sensitive breast for the past 7-10 days.. First it was quite bad.. Now not so much, but it's had me thinking.. It is due the time of the month (mine are very irregular and I have the implant, had it for about 18-20 months) but I've never experienced it before other than when I had my little one and while I was breast feeding.. My boobs have always been quite bumpy (milk ducts apparently, mum has is too) but I was wondering if anyone else has experience this? It's almost as if they feel fuller? I don't believe myself to be pregnant as I'm on the implant and sex life isn't exactly what it once was! Lol.. I've spoken to my mum about the sensitiveness and she thinks she's gets what I'm describing sometimes too.. Anyone? I'm not one that's afraid to visit the doctor.. And I will, I was just curious if anyone had any idea if it was fairly common or not? Xx

Just re-read your original post. I think that a visit to the doctor is in order :)

We are dealing with a 10 day problem with both breasts, premenstrual with "bumpy breasts."
This certainly sounds hormonal and I don't consider a GP visit necessary at this stage.
However.........the choice is yours.

I'm going to go to the doctors tomorrow just to put my mind at ease, it's no the whole breast that's sensitive, just around the nipples now. But I can feel large lumps (fairly sure they're milk ducts) as I've always had the bumpy bits.. But they just feel bigger than normal.. Both boobs feel bigger. It probably is just premenstrual however I've never experienced it myself before other than when I breast fed my now 2 year old.. Once again, any reassurance please? X
I'm sure it's not sinister and, as sqad says, you can wait before seeing a doctor.
I don't know how old you are but the only times I have had such symptoms have been when early pregnant and during the early menopause when hormones were all over the place. Please don't worry about it, it will be sorted out one way or the other :) x
